This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior GIS/Analytics professional to join an innovative data led solutions provider at a time of significant growth. You will be responsible for driving forward key data/modelling projects and designing innovative GIS & Geospatial in addition to supporting the wider development of cutting edge data products.
For success in this role will need to have excellent technical data & GIS expertise with the ability to understand technical requirements whilst supporting the creation of sophisticated data analysis and relevant insight.
Selection of responsibilities:

Support delivery of technical data projects: understand needs, scope, design, develop and implement solutions – based on FME, geospatial data analytics, data management and data integration.

Design, develop and implement cutting edge data solutions based on automation, geospatial data analytics, data intergration, and data science to produce meaningful insights from data and improve decision making.

Writing formal technical, functional and user documentation for acceptance by third parties.

Proactively Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements and developing innovative data products and offerings.

Experience, operating in an advanced data analysis role (3-5 years)specifically including a strong thread of geospatial data manipulation projects throughout

Experienced of data integration and solutions development, involving automating complex technical workflows, spatial ETL, spatial analytics, spatial data collection, validation, and management including data standards and metadata.

Commercial awareness, ability to reach the key "so what" messages from analysis in a way that people understand and can take tangible actions from

Experienced using a range of analytical applications, BI & ETL tools (Tableau, Power BI etc.)

Experienced with GIS software, for example QGIS, ESRI, MapInfo * Some experience and knowledge of coding languages and scripting

Experienced with databases, SQL, optimisation, the relational model (PostGRES/PostGIS is highly desirable)

The successful candidate will be rewarded with a competitive remuneration and flexible working regime, hybrid working with c1 day week project meeting, usually central England. Salary £40,000 – £50,000 (neg – dependent level & relevance of experience) + benefits.
