The Role

We're looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join our team at MS3.

This role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step in their finance career.

You'll support the Finance Director and wider finance team, taking ownership of key accounting activities, contributing to reporting and analysis, and helping to ensure our finance processes run smoothly and accurately

Key responsibilities include

  • Bank reconciliations.
  • Supplier payments and purchase ledger queries.
  • Month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments and journals.
  • Preparing and submitting VAT and CIS returns.
  • Supporting monthly payroll activities.
  • Revenue analysis and reporting.
  • Sales ledger and credit control activities.
  • Producing invoices, statements and customer communications.

About You

You'll have experience in a finance, accounts or bookkeeping role and be ready to broaden your skills across a wider range of finance activities.

We're particularly interested in candidates with

  • Sage 50 and/or Sage 200 experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • The ability to analyse financial information, identify trends and investigate discrepancies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • A proactive approach and a willingness to get stuck in.

AAT qualifications, or studies towards AAT, CIMA, ACCA or ACA, are welcomed but not essential.
