Overview:

  • Work Pattern Week 1: Sunday 0700-1500; Tuesday 0600-1400; Wednesday 0600-1400; Friday 0600-1400.
  • Week 2: Monday 1400-2300; Tuesday 1400-2300; Friday 1400-2300; Saturday 1400-2300.

Responsibilities:

  • To deliver a great shopping experience for our customers, acting as the face of the business and helping us continually improve by championing our products and putting customers before tasks.
  • Lead the fill operation, delivering a salesfloor ready to trade and coordinating resources to Serve, Sell and Fill.
  • Lead the floor in the absence of the Colleague Manager and coordinate resources to complete operational tasks during the fill operation.
  • Coach colleagues on One Best Way and drive productivity in readiness for store opening.
  • Allocate resources to deliver a quick payment experience and enable daily operational processes to be implemented efficiently across the store.
  • Coordinate the team to deliver a clean, safe and well-presented store and foster an inclusive team atmosphere.
  • Role model great customer service and the M&S behaviours and Colleague Expectations across the store.
  • Support Colleague Managers by sharing observations to help deliver high performance and recognise great colleagues.
  • Support nearby stores if operationally required and be available as a key holder to answer call outs as required.
  • Responsible for tasks related to opening and closing of the building, including receipt of vehicles, temperature controls, logging operational issues with relevant Helpdesks, cash handling and TSL compliance during peripheral hours.
