Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our Bakery section, working at the sharp end of fresh produce, under pressure and with precision. We are seeking passionate individuals with a love for food that strive for perfection every day.
Important information: This job role involves working with specialist cutting equipment and this means we can’t consider applications from anyone under the age of 18. This is to comply with the relevant health and safety legislation and to keep our colleagues safe in the workplace.
Work Pattern:
- Sunday: 08:00 - 16:45
- Monday: 12:00 - 16:00
- Tuesday: 12:00 - 16:00
Responsibilities:
- Serve our customers efficiently, both on the shop floor and at service points.
- Keep the store clean and tidy, ensuring that our shelves are always stocked with product.
- Monitor and deliver on the daily sales targets, priorities, promotions and selling opportunities.
- Proactively engage with customers to understand their needs, make recommendations and deliver remarkable service throughout their visit to store.
- Build expert product knowledge to sell and recommend our products and services.
- Training to utilise all digital tools and communication channels to deliver for the customer every time.
