A SharePoint Migration Engineer is required by a specialist consultancy delivering large-scale, high-impact migrations across healthcare, education, and housing sectors. This is a hands-on role focused on enterprise-scale eDRM and document management migrations.
You must have:
- SharePoint implementation or migration experience, ideally in a consultancy or partner setting
- Strong knowledge of SharePoint Team Sites, Document Libraries, and List View Thresholds
- Experience with SharePoint migration tooling, metadata mapping, and building bespoke migration frameworks
- Solid understanding of eDRM and document management principles
- Confident engaging directly with clients and owning delivery from end to end
This is a delivery-focused role for SharePoint and Document Management migrations. You'll be trusted to take ownership, work independently, and solve real-world document management problems. The team meets quarterly, but day-to-day is flexible and remote.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Configuring and testing custom migration tools
- Working with internal IT teams and external stakeholders
- Running test migrations and iterating with development
- Building migration logic and frameworks
- Executing large-scale document migrations (9TB+), with full responsibility for structure, integrity, and delivery
