An M365 Migration Consultant is required by a Microsoft-focused consultancy to lead a large-scale M365 tenant-to-tenant migration. This is a remote, outside IR35 contract, paying £450/day for an initial 100-day engagement, with strong potential to extend into other work.

You must have:

  • Hands-on experience with M365 tenant-to-tenant migrations
  • Solid use of Quest or MigrationWiz
  • End-to-end project involvement – discovery through to implementation
  • Strong stakeholder and client-facing skills
  • Deep knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams
  • Experience with multi-forest Entra ID Connect and Windows device migrations

This is a hands-on consulting role. You will run workshops, document current environments, and design a migration plan for an M365 tenant to tenant migration. You will handle the technical discovery, architecture, and planning for the implementation phase, including identity, email, data, and device migrations.

In this role, you will:

  • Run remote discovery workshops with client stakeholders
  • Design the migration approach and architecture
  • Document dependencies, risks, and technical strategy
  • Plan for device migration and Entra ID Connect setup
