We are currently looking for a Westminster Support Officer to join our team.
About the role: ‘Westminster’ our internal Management Information System (MIS) is a critical application to keep many aspects of the charity running smoothly. As the Westminster Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for employees using Westminster. You will also have a great deal of interaction supporting volunteer users across the charity.
Responsibilities:
- Provide First Level Defence Gateway support to employees and volunteers including:
- Regular daily downloads of DLE course results into Westminster.
- Support in registering and accessing DG accounts.
- Provide First Level Westminster Support to MSSC Employees including:
- Managing access rights at Area Offices, Training Centres and other outstations.
- Providing local and remote support for the above users, escalating issues to the WM Manager where necessary.
- Provide Third Level Westminster Support to SCC Volunteers including:
- Problem solving where issues are reported up from District/Area volunteers.
- Providing remote support for the above users, escalating issues to the WM Manager where necessary.
- Maintaining communications with employee and volunteer groups via Teams.
- Assist with the creation and maintenance of training materials, written guides and videos.
- Demonstrable ability to work in a desktop support role.
- Sound knowledge of common Office applications and email.
- Ability to record data and maintain records.
- Ability to provide telephone support.
- Ability to work effectively with a broad range of internal and external contacts.
- Data Protection awareness.
