As an M&S Opticians Trainer, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training programs to support our colleague development across the business. You will facilitate training sessions both remotely and in-store, assess learner performance, and provide constructive feedback to help employees grow. You will also collaborate with store and area managers to embed learning, enhance performance, and ensure training materials remain relevant. With a proactive and engaging approach, you will inspire teams to develop their skills, ultimately contributing to business success.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging training sessions both remotely and in-store
- Assess learners’ abilities, identify areas for improvement, and provide feedback
- Conduct follow-up visits to observe and support employees post-training
- Support Opticians managers in coaching and developing high‑performing teams
- Stay up to date with new product launches and company procedures
- Ensure compliance with company policies and safeguarding regulations
- Travel to different locations for training
- Act as a positive ambassador for the company
