Founded in 1996 in South Africa and identified in London Stock Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’, M&S Logistics is a global tank container operator specialising in the intermodal transport of bulk liquids with a fleet size of over 9,500 tank containers. The company’s headquarters is in the UK with offices in the Netherlands, France, Germany, Singapore, China, South Korea, Taiwan, India, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the Americas, Thailand and Dubai with further office openings planned this year.

We have the following vacancy in our newly refurbished office in Sandbach, UK.

Site: Sandbach, UK

Hours: 37.5 per week; Monday – Friday 08:30-16:30

The purpose of this role is to ensure the accurate processing of purchase invoices and timely preparation of payment runs by liaising with our global offices and suppliers.

What you will do:

  • The job holder is required to have experience in accounts administration.
  • Having purchase ledger experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Experience of integrated business systems or SAP Business One and dealing with medium to high volume transactions would be advantageous.
  • Confidentiality and trustworthiness are vital due to the nature of the role.
  • You need to be flexible, able to effectively work in a team and communicate with customers and staff in our global offices.
  • Accuracy and good attention to detail, as well as good computer and arithmetic skills, are essential for this job role.
