We are seeking a Saw Operator to join our manufacturing team. As a Saw Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a beam saw to cut various materials according to specifications. This is a great opportunity for someone with a manufacturing background and experience in furniture manufacturing.
Duties:
- Set up and operate beam saw to cut materials such as MFC and MDF.
- Adjust saw blades to ensure accurate cuts.
- Monitor the cutting process to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Inspect finished pieces for defects or imperfections.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience on a beam saw preferred.
- Materials handling techniques.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating dimensions accurately.
- Basic computer skills.
