This role focuses on our Management System (TMS), related platforms and interconnectivity with finance and investment systems, ensuring a systems environment that is user‑oriented, robust, efficient, and aligned with best practice. Reporting to the Treasury Transformation Lead and working closely with the Senior Treasury Analyst and the wider Systems team, you’ll play a key role in implementing and improving our treasury technology landscape, related platforms and interconnected systems.
The senior treasury & finance systems analyst’s key deliverable will be to successfully transition the TMS (FIS Integrity) from the current service provider to the business’s new in‑house treasury function, acting as the connector between Treasury and adjacent teams and the wider systems landscape. The role will also manage:
- the transition of existing 3rd‑party feeds (e.g., Bloomberg);
- assess and set up new feeds;
- SWIFT connectivity including payments;
- connectivity with finance (Oracle) and investment systems and source/output feeds.
The role focuses on operational resilience, alignment with the firm’s strategic objectives and ensuring regulatory compliance. The role requires close collaboration with stakeholders across the current service provider, Finance, Investments, Risk, Compliance, the wider Systems team and external banking partners. The individual will play a key role in enabling a seamless transition with minimal disruption to the business‑as‑usual activities by providing clarity, traceability, and insight into TMS and the wider systems landscape.
What you’ll spend your time doing
- TMS Operating Model Analysis, Design, Implementation & Improvement
- Act as system administrator and subject matter expert for our TMS (Integrity by FIS Global), managing configuration, access profiles, data integrity, and troubleshooting.
- Support validation and sign‑off of handovers of data, TMS and related systems and acceptance criteria.
- Support and enhance treasury processes including liquidity, forecasting, FX trading interfaces, and payment workflows.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to automate and simplify payments.
- Lead testing activities for system changes and integrations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Provide technical support for banking platforms, including onboarding and connectivity tasks.
- Provide technical support for reporting design and data integrity, automated wherever possible.
- Contribute to system development, documentation, and continuous improvement, ensuring processes are efficient and secure.
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Produce clear documentation including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process maps, data flows, and impact assessments.
- Support the preparation of business cases, status reports and materials for governance committees.
- Act as liaison between Treasury, Finance and Investments business units and technical systems teams to ensure shared understanding of objectives and deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement & Change Support
- Facilitate workshops and working groups to gather requirements, validate assumptions, and resolve challenges.
- Engage stakeholders across Investments, Finance, Risk and Compliance, and Systems to ensure alignment and transparency.
Risk, Compliance & Assurance Analysis
- Identify and assess risks relating to operational continuity, data integrity, and regulatory obligations.
- Work with Risk & Compliance teams to ensure proposed processes and controls satisfy internal and external regulatory standards.
- Support audit activities by providing documentation, evidence trails, and process transparency.
- Embed operational resilience and control considerations into requirement and process design.
What you’ll need
Essential
- Ability to speak treasury/finance and systems languages with equal ease.
- Experience managing treasury or financial systems including SWIFT connectivity, payments and banking interaction.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end treasury practices and terminology.
- Strong understanding of TMS‑adjacent platforms and systems, e.g., Bloomberg, Oracle, SWIFT, payment files.
- Skilled in Excel and comfortable managing complex data sets.
- BI skills desirable.
- Ability to document systems, workflows and support operational processes.
Desirable
- Degree or equivalent in technology, computing, or finance systems.
- Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., PRA, FCA, Lloyd’s Minimum Standards).
- Experience with FIS Integrity including recent system functionality upgrades.
