About the Role

The reserving team plays a pivotal role in shaping our understanding of risk and financial performance across the business. As an analyst within the team, you’ll be hands-on in analysing data, interpreting reserving results and turning numbers into insights that inform key decisions. This is an ideal role if you’re looking to build technical expertise, gain exposure to various stakeholders and progress your actuarial qualification in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Modelling and analysis
    • Enhance reserving models and processes.
    • Challenge and improve methodologies.
    • Analyse data and model outputs to generate meaningful insights to support decision-making.
  • Communication and collaboration
    • Translate modelling into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
    • Partner with teams across underwriting, claims and finance to ensure analysis drives better business outcomes.
    • Contribute to a culture of openness, curiosity and continuous improvement (Kaizen) within the actuarial team and the broader business.
