Job Title: Senior Underwriter - Financial Risk (Credit, Political Risk, Surety & Mortgage Treaty Reinsurance)Location: LondonPosition type: Full time, permanentAbout The JobThis is a global role; the role holder will be a member of the Specialty Reinsurance team and will be accountable for contributing to the effective delivery of the vision and the strategy for the global Financial Risks Reinsurance portfolio.You will be responsible for taking underwriting business in accordance with the Specialty Reinsurance business plan.About the Job:While there is rarely a 'typical' day as an Underwriter, here's a snapshot of some of the key parts of the job:StrategyDevelop the existing Financial Risks reinsurance book and look for growth and improvement opportunities.
