Collaborate with underwriters to assess risk and optimise pricing strategies in line with syndicate profitability targets.Produce clear, data-driven pricing recommendations and present findings to senior stakeholders by carrying out large account case pricing.Support the Pricing team on other cross-class activities such as running the quarterly Pricing KPIs and annual inflation reviewsAnalyse and interpret both external and internal data to create robust pricing models that support business objectives and improve underwriting profitability.Work with Pricing management and other actuarial colleagues to provide critical insights in Pricing Portfolio Reviews, offering independent opinions on the quality of risks written to optimise portfolio profitability.Support Pricing management with the accuracy, development, and utilisation of management information for analysis and reporting purposes.Continue to work towards full actuarial qualification.Are a strong problem solver, using statistical methods to tackle ‘real-world’ questionsCan explain complex data in simple terms Enjoy collaborating with underwriters, actuaries, and model developers to drive results.Being an undergraduate in maths, economics or actuarial science, or other numerate discipline.Working towards an actuarial qualification.Advanced knowledge of Excel.Proven ability to work with complex data, statistical analysis, and actuarial modellingStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.Proficiency in SQL and VBA programming languages.A talent to think laterally in order to develop solutions to support the continued improvement of services by the Technical Pricing team.
