About the Role

This is an ideal role if you’re looking to build technical expertise, gain exposure to various stakeholders and progress your actuarial qualification in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Modelling and analysis: Enhance reserving models and processes. Challenge and improve methodologies. Analyse data and model outputs to generate meaningful insights to support decision-making.
  • Communication and collaboration: Translate modelling into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders. Partner with teams across underwriting, claims and finance to ensure analysis drives better business outcomes. Contribute to a culture of openness, curiosity and continuous improvement (Kaizen) within the actuarial team and the broader business.

About You

You’ll thrive in this role if you are:

  • A curious problem solver who enjoys exploring how models reflect real-world risk.
  • A keen learner, actively progressing through actuarial exams.

  • Able to communicate complex ideas clearly, both in writing and verbally.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to accuracy, without losing sight of the bigger picture.

What You’ll Need

  • Strong analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a genuine interest in how insurance businesses operate.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Why Join Us

You’ll be joining a team that values growth, curiosity and collaboration. We’ll support you through your actuarial exams, give you access to a wide range of data and projects and encourage you to shape how reserving adds value to the wider business.
