While there is rarely a typical day, here are some of the key parts of the job:
- Regulatory Reporting: Produce regular reporting including investment holdings, investment look‐through, derivatives positions, and realised and unrealised returns, to support regulatory requirements including Lloyd's, Solvency II, ALM and stress testing reporting.
- Internal Stakeholder Reporting: Provide accurate, complete and timely information to enable the Investment Team, Investment Committee and Board to provide informed challenge. This includes maintenance of reporting packs containing performance, attribution and risk dashboards, breach monitoring, liquidity analytics and ESG metrics. Develop dashboards and data‐visualisation to assist stakeholder understanding.
- Operational Support: Implement day‐to‐day asset movements, while ensuring disciplined cash flow management and forecasting. Perform reconciliations with custodian and systems to ensure integrity and completeness of data and analytics. Assist in the day‐to‐day point of contact for technical issues with custodians, investment managers and service providers.
- Compliance Monitoring: Ensure portfolios and mandates remain within control ranges, risk and liquidity appetites, while enabling the independent monitoring and challenge of external investment managers to ensure full compliance with internal policies and Lloyd's standards.
You’re going to enjoy this job if you also:
- Thrive in environments where attention to detail and accuracy are paramount, producing vitally important reporting for Lloyd's, Regulators, Investment Committee and Board.

- Find satisfaction in problem‐solving and delivering process improvements, looking for better, faster, or more accurate ways to do things.
- Are motivated by continuous learning, particularly in mastering new systems, automation tools, and navigating the evolving landscape of insurance and Lloyd's trust fund regulations.
- Appreciate working within a dynamic team where your analytical skills and data management expertise are valued, and where you are keen to learn from those around you as well as be supported in your professional studies.
