This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Management Accountant to play a key role in shaping the financial structure of a newly acquired business and supporting its integration into a larger, established group. The Opportunity
This is not a “business as usual” role. You’ll be at the heart of a live acquisition, taking ownership of financial processes, implementing structure, and helping to bring clarity and control during a period of change.
- Support the business through a key acquisition and integration phase
- Build and implement robust financial processes and reporting frameworks
- Deliver meaningful insights to support commercial decision-making
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, including the Group Financial Controller and operational leadership
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on accounting support throughout the acquisition process
- Establish weekly sales and margin reporting aligned to group standards
- Prepare and develop monthly management accounts, including KPI reporting
- Implement and improve month-end close processes (journals, accruals, prepayments, cut-off)
- Review and enhance financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Collaborate with on-site teams to embed best practice and improve processes
- Support the integration of the acquired entity into group reporting
About You
- Experienced Management Accountant (or similar) with strong technical grounding
- ACCA / CIMA qualified preferred, but strong QBE candidates with relevant experience will absolutely be considered
- Proven experience implementing processes and improving reporting structures
- Exposure to acquisitions, integrations, or fast-paced environments is highly advantageous
- Confident working in a hands-on, evolving business
- Strong communicator, able to build relationships across finance and operations
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is beneficial
