Rebate Finance Manager – Newly Created Role Cwmbran £38,000 – £45,000 (DOE) Hybrid working available after probation (3 days office / 2 days home) Are you ready to step into a pivotal finance leadership role that will shape the future of rebate governance within a fast-growing manufacturing business? We’re working with a market-leading manufacturer with multiple sites across the UK and Ireland. Following a period of exceptional growth, they’re now creating a brand-new role within their commercial finance team and they’re looking for an experienced Rebate Finance Manager to make it their own. This is a unique opportunity to lead and develop a team, drive process improvements, and take ownership of rebate compliance across the entire organisation. If you’re a detail-driven accountant with strong commercial acumen and experience in rebates, this could be your perfect next step. What You’ll Be Doing Taking full ownership of rebate compliance – ensuring all agreements are properly approved, documented, and aligned with commercial terms. Leading monthly and quarterly reporting and reconciliations, delivering clear insights to the Group Financial Controller and senior leadership team. Dealing with rebate accruals and payments. Partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Credit Control, and other key teams to ensure accuracy and alignment on all rebate-related matters. Supporting internal and external audits, maintaining a clear audit trail and driving best-in-class governance. Identifying and delivering process improvements, automation, and systems upgrades to increase efficiency and accuracy. Managing and mentoring a team of 4 – 8 analysts and administrators, promoting development and high performance. What We’re Looking For A qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA), or equivalent experience. A solid background in rebate management, ideally in a manufacturing or distribution environment. Confident working with ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Sage) and advanced in Excel (pivot tables, lookups etc.). A strong communicator who thrives in a cross-functional role with senior stakeholder interaction. Proven leadership experience, someone who brings out the best in a team.
