Senior Consultant - AI-powered Insight - Verve Vero in Manchester

We are looking for a smart, curious Senior Consultant to join our AI‐powered insight team. As a key member of Verve's Vero Build Studio, you will design and deliver AI‐powered research solutions that bridge technology, insight and real‐world business needs. This client‐facing role means getting close to client challenges, shaping and managing projects alongside consultants, and building AI‐driven solutions such as our award‐winning Verve Intelligent Personas and Simulations (VIPS). It is a hands‐on role with strategic impact – ideal for someone who wants to create innovative solutions that transform how insight is delivered.

• Oversee end‐to‐end planning and delivery of Vero solutions to clients, ensuring tools and processes are implemented effectively and that project outputs are delivered to a high quality.
• Set project timelines, costs, and scope of Verve Vero solutions for clients and internal teams.
• Combine insight knowledge with practical application of AI technology through hands‐on involvement in technical build, deployment, and testing of Verve Vero solutions, including VIPS, our AI‐powered audience simulations, and Maven, which helps structure and analyse unstructured data at scale.
• Guide and mentor junior members of the Build Studio team in project management, client delivery, and development.
• Act as a face of Vero for clients, bringing credibility, specialist knowledge, reassurance and guidance through first‐hand experience of Vero builds, problem‐solving and solutions.
• Support the wider Consulting team in client pitches, scoping meetings, roll‐out, debriefs and activation of Vero solutions.

• Collaborate with the R&D team to refine Vero tools, incorporating feedback from internal teams and clients.
• Develop and maintain client‐facing materials, such as user guides, case studies, and onboarding documentation.
• Provide strategic guidance on how Vero tools can enhance Verve's research methodologies and deliverables.
• Act as a Vero ambassador, educating internal teams on tools, methodologies, and the client benefits of Vero solutions.

• 3‐7 years' experience. Direct commercial insight background is valuable but not essential – we also welcome candidates from adjacent fields (e.g. consultancy, creative or tech‐driven agencies, marketing, product, UX, or innovation) who bring strong transferable skills.
• Experience in client delivery or project management.
• Interest or experience in applying AI to product development or improving ways of working.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders.
• A clear, confident communicator – able to explain complex technical ideas simply and align teams around them.
• A growth mindset – you are comfortable with ambiguity, take initiative without waiting for detailed direction, and thrive in fast‐moving, entrepreneurial environments.
• UK‐based candidate. Able to work from our Manchester Hub at least once per month.

• Familiarity with AI concepts and techniques, such as large language models, machine learning, or Retrieval‐Augmented Generation models.
• Technical literacy, such as coding or working with APIs, is a bonus.
