Beaufort Research is a leading market research company in Wales. We have been helping clients with quantitative and qualitative research to inform their decisions since 1984. We carry out a wide range of interesting and varied projects for government bodies, public organisations and businesses. These can involve helping clients develop policies or products, assessing the effectiveness of their advertising and communications and measuring customer satisfaction. Beaufort is a Company Partner of the Market Research Society, and all our staff belong to the MRS.
This is a maternity cover position running up to 12 months, ending in February 2027 - with the potential to become a permanent role depending on business needs and performance. You will be at the heart of our client work, taking the lead on a variety of qualitative and quantitative projects from initial brief through to final delivery. You may design online surveys, shape discussion guides, moderate focus groups, interview client stakeholders or draft findings for clients. With a small team you will manage projects day‑to‑day, draft proposals, support business development, build strong client relationships, collaborate closely with colleagues and lend a hand wherever your skills can make a difference.
We are looking for someone with:
- 5+ years’ experience working across qualitative and quantitative methodologies
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent IT skills (including designing presentations)
- Strong attention to detail
- Flexible approach to work e.g. moderating evening groups
- Good numeracy skills
- Able to work calmly under pressure and as part of a team
- Right to work in the UK
Welsh language skills are a bonus, but not essential.
