Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of direct purchasing across enterprise hardware, including servers, storage, and networking solutions.
  • Build and develop strong supplier relationships within the ITAD and secondary markets, including cancelled orders and returns.
  • Source and negotiate key components such as Intel and AMD CPUs, memory, and related hardware, ensuring competitive pricing and supply continuity.
  • Identify and capitalise on manufacturer‑direct purchasing opportunities to drive cost savings.
  • Manage the full procurement lifecycle, from sourcing and negotiation through to placement of purchase orders and stock reconciliation.
  • Analyse purchasing data, monitoring cost trends, volumes, and foreign‑exchange impacts to support informed decision‑making.
  • Produce accurate reporting on purchasing performance, trends, and forecasts while maintaining data integrity within ERP systems such as NAV.
  • Work closely with sales, warehouse and technical teams to ensure alignment on stock availability and delivery schedules.

Requirements

  • Proven track record in enterprise IT hardware procurement, ideally with strong exposure to Dell product lines.
  • An established network within the ITAD and secondary hardware market is highly advantageous.
  • Hands‑on experience sourcing from returns, cancelled orders and working with reverse‑logistics suppliers.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate effectively and deliver cost savings on high‑volume, high‑value purchases.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems such as Priority or NAV is beneficial.
  • A confident communicator with strong analytical capability and solid Excel skills.
  • Detail‑focused, commercially astute, and able to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
