Key Responsibilities
- Manage and Grow Existing Client Relationships: Take ownership of a portfolio of established accounts, ensuring consistent communication, excellent service, and proactive support. Identify opportunities to expand business within existing customers through upselling, cross-selling, and long-term account development.
- Prospect New Customers and Follow Up on Marketing Leads: Drive new business growth by identifying and approaching prospective clients across target industries. Leverage inbound leads from marketing campaigns and convert them into qualified opportunities, while also generating your own pipeline through outbound activity.
- Conduct Product Demonstrations and Provide Consultative Support: Deliver compelling product presentations, both in person and virtually, tailored to the technical and commercial needs of the customer. Act as a trusted advisor by understanding client challenges and recommending appropriate solutions from a broad product portfolio.
- Maintain CRM Records and Provide Sales Forecasts: Ensure accurate and up-to-date customer and opportunity data within the CRM system. Provide timely reports, pipeline updates, and sales forecasts to support business planning and performance tracking.
Requirements
- Demonstrated success in B2B technical sales , ideally within engineering, electronics, or related sectors
- Solid knowledge of Test and Measurement equipment , with the ability to translate technical features into customer value
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills , with a consultative, customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence and a flexible attitude toward travel within the assigned region
