This is a customer-facing Field Applications Engineer role for a technically credible specialist in relays and contactors. You’ll be instrumental in positioning the brand as a true subject-matter expert in power switching solutions.
Application Engineering & Design-Win Ownership- Support OEM design teams from concept through validation to design-win
- Challenge product and process specifications to achieve best-in-class performance
- Act as the technical interface for direct customers and distributor networks
- Support sales and business development teams with deep application insight
- Support the introduction of new products and the development of in-house manufacturing capability
- Liaise with external approval bodies and key manufacturing partners
- Coach and upskill engineering and sales teams
- Promote a culture of reliable, repeatable, application-led engineering excellence
- Electrical & mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Experience operating within regulated testing and H&S environments
- Commercial awareness within OEM / distributor ecosystems
- Engineering degree (Master’s preferred) or equivalent high-level industry experience
- Demonstrable track record supporting relay/contactor solutions across multiple applications
- Comfortable working globally across time zones, with a willingness to travel
