Established for nearly 50 years, operating across both the US and UK, this organisation delivers high-reliability products—including interconnect, electro-mechanical, and electronic components—designed for mission-critical applications. With a full suite of procurement and value-added services, this role offers the opportunity to drive growth by developing key relationships, identifying new markets, and contributing to the expansion of a trusted partner in the defense and commercial electronics space. Key Responsibilities Proactively identify and capitalise on new business opportunities to drive market expansion. Build and sustain strong, trust-based relationships with current clients and new prospects. Conduct strategic market research to track industry trends, evaluate competitor positioning, and uncover areas for growth. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—sales, marketing, and product development—to ensure alignment on business objectives. Lead contract negotiations and successfully close high-value deals with key stakeholders. Craft and deliver persuasive presentations and tailored proposals to potential clients. Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and revenue targets. Analyse business performance metrics to refine strategies and maximise results. Represent the organisation at trade shows, conferences, and industry networking events to enhance brand visibility and forge new connections. Requirements A bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus. A proven track record in business development, sales, or account management—preferably within the electronics or technology industries. Strong technical understanding of electronic components, systems, or industry-specific solutions. Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities. Demonstrated ability to create and implement effective strategic business plans. Sharp analytical skills paired with a proactive, problem-solving mindset. Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. Willing and able to travel as needed to support business growth and client engagement.
