Key Responsibilities
- Meet or exceed targeted sales and gross profit margins in line with company objectives.
- Build and maintain a long-term, profitable, and sustainable business in alignment with the strategic parameters set by the company.
- Identify and engage new customer prospects, managing the full sales cycle from initial contact through to post-sales support and operations.
- Secure and grow order volumes as defined by the company, achieving agreed margins within designated timeframes.
- Manage and nurture existing customer accounts, with a focus on expanding and developing these relationships to drive continued growth.
- Collaborate with the Sales team to identify and capitalise on new opportunities within both current and potential customer bases.
- Contribute to special projects as assigned by the company.
- Carry out additional responsibilities and tasks as required by the company.
Requirements
- Knowledge and understanding of products, application, and potential customers would be an advantage.
- Technical competence related to electronics.
- Ability to take initiative.
- Desire to sell and strong ambition to succeed.
- Familiarity and discipline in managing sales databases.
- Commercial awareness of factors affecting the profitability of a Company.
- Good organisational skills.
- An outgoing and presentable manner when communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
- A technical or other suitable qualification: preferably to a minimum of HNC/HND level.
