We are looking for an experienced Front of House Server to join the team in our Coggeshall tea room. As a Front of House assistant, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and looking after various areas of the tea room.
Full time: Including 2 weekend days a week. Min 30 hours per week. Working days (subject to change for holiday cover etc.): 3 weekdays and Saturday, Sunday.
Responsibilities- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Work areas of the tea room, to serve guests within your area
- Run food and drinks to customers efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the tea room
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations
- Previous experience in a customer-facing role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work on weekends and weekdays
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Paid breaks & meals on shift
- Staff discount
- Good tips from satisfied customers usually ranging between £2.10 to £2.80 extra per hour
- Mainly daytime shifts – you may be required to work the occasional evening event
