Mrs Salisbury’s is a welcoming café and dining destination known for quality food, great coffee, and warm hospitality. Our Wickham Bishops site is a busy, community-focused location where service and standards matter. We pride ourselves on creating a positive working environment with strong teamwork and a passion for delivering an excellent guest experience. We are entering an exciting new phase, with the introduction of a dinner service on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings, alongside a Sunday lunch service, expanding our offering and creating new opportunities for growth.
The Role
We are looking for a motivated and hands-on Assistant Manager to support the day-to-day running of our Wickham Bishops location. You will work closely with the General Manager to ensure high operational standards, exceptional customer service, and a positive team culture. This is a full-time position based on a 40-hour week, including weekends and evening shifts in line with our new dinner and Sunday lunch services.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily operations
- Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service
- Supervise and motivate front-of-house team members
- Assist with staff training, onboarding, and development
- Manage shifts, rotas, and staffing levels
