About the role
Mrs. Alice is a fast growing homewares brand designing and curating seasonal collections of tablescapes, tableware and homeware. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Systems Architect to join our team. This person will be accountable for data flow throughout the supply chain from raising POs and SKUs through to accounting.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for optimizing the technology ecosystem that powers our brand. Investigate existing systems, analyze business processes, and design improvements or new IT solutions.
- You will analyze how our e-commerce platform integrates with our ERP, Warehouse Management System (WMS) and finance platforms and maintain these systems to ensure high levels of automations giving the business greater efficiency.
- Champion and summarize feature add ons to our tech stack and effectively present recommended go-forward strategies and train key stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate data within business systems to support dataādriven decision-making to promote better working practices.
- Build and interpret dashboards on operational and customer data to understand how to optimize product sales and drive greater customer life time value.
- Collaborate with each function of the business (Buying and Merch, Ops, Marketing and Finance) to provide data dashboards and analysis on performance and forecast insights to support with data visibility, business growth and optimisations.
- Create user manuals and conduct training sessions for systems.
Qualifications
- Excellent technical knowledge of and experience implementing retail operating systems, warehouse systems and ecommerce platforms.
- High empathy for the endāuser; excellent problemāsolving under pressure (e.g., during Black Friday/Cyber Monday).
- Proven track record and recent comparable experience 3+ years in an ecommerce company.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastāmoving dynamic retail environment ā we are a lean start up that makes things happen!
- Strong commercial, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skill.
- Experience working cross team, managing upwards and downwards.
Nice to have
- Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.).
- Experience with ERP system BrightPearl.
