Assistant Site Manager Walpole 400kV Substation Location: Walpole 400kV Substation Contract: 6-month rolling contract Assignment: Full-time, site-based IR35: Outside IR35 Rate: Negotiable based on experience The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Site Manager to support the delivery of a major 400kV substation project at Walpole. The role is being delivered on behalf of a leading engineering and construction organisation specialising in complex energy infrastructure projects across the UK and internationally. The business has extensive experience delivering high-voltage transmission and distribution projects and operates within a highly regulated environment where safety, quality, technical excellence and programme delivery are critical. The successful candidate will support the Site Manager with the day-to-day management of the project and will provide SR163 cover when the Site Manager is not on site. You will also supervise site activities, coordinate subcontractors and provide clear feedback to the Site Manager to ensure the works progress safely, efficiently and in accordance with the programme.
