We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary platform team; someone who embodies our culture and core values.

You will play a key role in designing, building, and scaling the foundational systems that power our products. From developing highly reliable, performant services to driving improvements in our infrastructure and developer experience, you\\\’ll contribute to the core platform that enables our business. You\\\’ll collaborate closely with engineers across multiple teams to ensure our architecture is robust, scalable, and future-proof, while also helping establish engineering standards.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain core services that power our gambling platform, ensuring reliability, scalability, and high performance.
• Collaborate with product, DevOps, backend, and frontend engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions that fit seamlessly into our ecosystem.
• Support and manage cloud infrastructure, ensuring secure, cost-efficient, and resilient operations across environments.
• Share knowledge with teammates and contribute to a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Influence platform direction by contributing to architectural decisions, tooling choices, and long-term technical strategy.

What We\\\’re Looking For

• A collaborative engineer with excellent communication skills, who can balance critical thinking, problem-solving, and effective time management.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Java and Spring. Knowledge of Kotlin is a strong plus.
• Proven expertise in designing and building distributed systems, with a deep understanding of concurrency, resiliency, and scalability in microservices.
• Interest in and eagerness to learn DevOps domains, with the adaptability to contribute across the platform where most impactful.
• Familiarity with cloud-native technologies and our stack, including MongoDB, Kafka, Redis, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
