MrQ – we're an awesome, award-winning online casino launched in 2018. We're big on tech, big on performance and most of all – big on fun. Over the years, we have experienced explosive growth – which means we need more rock stars to join our quest for total world domination.

MrQ's Product org is full of brilliant people. The problem isn't the talent. It's the tax. As an org scales, the work stops being the bottleneck — the coordination around the work does. Status decks that exist to translate a decision someone already made. Meetings to align on the other meetings. A Scorecard that reads green right up until the moment it's red. Heads and PMs spending their sharpest hours on glue instead of on the product. This role exists to kill that tax and give the org its time back. The old answer to scale was more process and more meetings. The new answer is automation, tooling, and just enough process to keep it tight. Same goals — alignment, visibility, nothing falling through the cracks — reached without stealing everyone's week to get there.

What You’ll Do

  • You own the operating system. The Product cadence, the Scorecard, the Rocks, the rituals that keep Product moving — they're yours. Not as a note-taker, as the owner who makes them sharp, cuts the ones that don't earn their place, and makes sure decisions actually land instead of dissolving between meetings.
  • You take work off the CPO's plate. The chief-of-staff edge. The half-defined, politically awkward, falls‑between-functions things that would otherwise sit on Aidan's desk for three weeks — you pick them up, drive them, and close them. You're trusted with real decisions, not just prep.
  • You make the org faster. You hunt the coordination tax and remove it. Better tooling, fewer rituals, tighter throughput. If a process isn't making the work better, you burn it.
  • You’re the early‑warning system. When a Company Scorecard metric starts to drift, you see it first. You convene the response — The Assemble — and you run it the way it's meant to run: supportive, fast, fix‑focused, not a hunt for someone to blame.
  • You see the whole board. Across every tribe and mission, you spot the dependencies, the conflicts, and the quiet single points of failure before they bite. You connect dots nobody else is positioned to see.
  • You build AI‑natively. Not a tool bolted on at the end. It's how you operate from day one — automating the reporting, the synthesis, the chasing. The ops function stays lean precisely because you've built it to run on AI, not headcount.

What Makes This Different

  • You operate, you don't administrate. This is not a PMO. No process for process's sake. No governance theatre. Your job is to make work happen faster, not to create more of it.
  • No siloes — yours included. This is an ops role, but ownership isn't fenced off here. Interested in building a piece of Product itself? Brilliant — go take a piece and build it. The 'everyone builds' rule applies to you too.
  • Small footprint, big leverage. You're a Principal IC, not a manager building an empire. Your output comes from judgement and AI, not from people reporting to you.
  • Direct line to the CPO. You work shoulder-to-shoulder with Aidan. You're trusted with ambiguity and real calls — and expected to challenge, not just execute.
  • You’re judged on the org's clarity and throughput. Not on how many rituals you run or meetings you attend. If Product is moving faster and thinking clearer, you're winning. If not, no amount of activity covers for it.

What We’re Looking For

  • You've operated at the centre of a scaling product or tech org — as a Chief of Staff, in Product/Biz Ops, or as a senior operator who naturally drifted into making the whole machine work.
  • Genuinely into AI — ideally you've already built tools, automations, or workflows that replaced manual ops work, and it's changed how you operate. If you haven't yet, you're fired up by it and you learn fast. Either way: not AI‑curious.
  • You create the brief. You're comfortable with no map and no mandate, and you turn 'this is a mess' into a plan and a close.
  • A systems thinker who's still willing to do the unglamorous glue work personally. You'll design the system and chase the spreadsheet.
  • You earn trust fast across a leadership team. You can hold a room, and challenge a Head or LT member, without ego or politics.
  • A bias to closing things, not coordinating them forever. You measure yourself in decisions made and problems gone.
  • Fluent with numbers — you read a Scorecard and know which line is lying.

What We’re Not Looking For

  • Classic PMO / process-first operators. We have enough process; we need someone who removes the wrong kind.
  • Anyone who needs a team beneath them to feel senior.
  • 'I'll set up the meeting' coordinators. We need the person who makes the meeting unnecessary.
  • Lukewarm on AI. Whether you've built with it or you're hungry to, both work — idle curiosity doesn't.
  • Anyone who confuses being busy with moving the org forward.

Reporting to: CPO (Aidan Sliney)

Level: Principal / senior individual contributor, operating alongside the Leadership Team
