Salary: £45,000 per annum paid monthly
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: Mon-Fri 06:30-16:30 with a 60 minute unpaid break

Role: Workshop Manager
The Workshop Manager is responsible for managing the workshop and the yard teams to ensure that all targets are achieved and customers are satisfied with the service in accordance with Health and Safety legislation and safe systems of work.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage workshop and yard teams
- Oversee inspection, fault finding, and repair of returned machinery
- Ensure machinery is serviced and maintained to schedule
- Allocate resources and manage workload effectively
- Coordinate machinery movements in and out of the yard
- Monitor damage reports, records, and service documentation
- Control costs and manage parts ordering
- Carry out monthly stock takes and Health & Safety walkarounds
- Ensure staff training, SSOW, and H&S compliance at all times
Qualifications:
- A confident leader with strong communication skills
- Highly detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Able to think creatively and put forward continuous improvements
- A collaborative team player with strong organisational skills
- Comfortable using computer systems and workshop software
- Proven previous management or supervisory experience
- Must hold a relevant IPAF qualification
- Strong understanding of health and safety best practices
- IOSH Managing Safely qualified
