Our client is a well-established hire business with a strong heritage, a loyal customer base and significant scope to grow. The business is now looking to appoint a Sales Director who can bring greater commercial discipline, sales leadership and momentum to the organisation.

The successful candidate will be expected to lead from the front: winning business personally, developing key customer relationships, improving the sales team and building a more structured, accountable and scalable sales function.

  • Develop and execute a practical sales strategy focused on profitable growth.
  • Personally lead key account, new business and senior customer activity.
  • Build stronger sales process, pipeline discipline, CRM usage and reporting.
  • Coach, challenge and develop a small but growing sales team.
  • Improve customer targeting, account segmentation and sales productivity.
  • Work closely with the MD to shape the next stage of commercial growth.

A proven sales leader from hire or rental or a closely related B2B sector.
