Cisco Telephony & Videoconferencing Engineer to join a leading UK brand in Stevenage.
Excellent high rates (Inside IR35), SC Cleared candidates only, 100% onsite & long term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver Cisco telephony and video conferencing projects.
- Support L1/L2 teams with complex incidents and major incident resolution.
- Manage problem resolution, RCA, and continuous service improvement.
- Provide knowledge transfer to technicians and engineers.
- Address customer requests in collaboration with the Capgemini Team Leader/SDM.
- Maintain HLDs, LLDs, technical documentation, and procedures.
- Perform hardware and configuration testing.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in a Cisco environment.
- Strong knowledge of Cisco telephony (CUCM, Unity Connection, Jabber, IP Phones) and video conferencing (CMS, endpoints, TMS), preferably v12.5.
- Knowledge of VMware v7/v8.
- Strong understanding of SIP and H.323 protocols.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
Desirable Skills
- Experience with Kurmi, Telisca, Prognosis, PeterConnects, and Real Time monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of WAN/LAN networking, security, systems administration, and PC environments.
