Service Now Developers required to support the delivery of a large-scale Service Now implementation covering HRSD, CSM, Employee Centre, Knowledge Management, Virtual Agent and integrations.

This is a UK-based opportunity with 2-3 days per week onsite in the west midlands, offering a long term engagement with competitive rates.

The role is suited to experienced Service Now Developers who have strong hands-on development experience and are comfortable working across multiple delivery workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and develop Service Now solutions across HRSD and CSM.
  • Build and maintain record producers, forms, workflows, catalog items, notifications and case management capabilities.
  • Configure Employee Centre experiences and user journeys.
  • Develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP APIs and Integration Hub.
  • Support configuration of Virtual Agent and Now Assist capabilities.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement and technical design discussions.
  • Support unit testing, SIT, UAT and defect resolution activities.
  • Produce and maintain technical documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with architects, developers, testers and business stakeholders.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Strong hands-on Service Now development experience.
  • Strong experience across HRSD.

  • CSM/Source-to-Pay Operations
  • Employee Centre/Employee Centre Pro
  • Service Now integrations
  • Virtual Agent and/or Now Assist
  • Experience developing case workflows, service catalogues, agent workspaces and portal experiences.
  • Strong knowledge of Java Script, Glide APIs, Flow Designer and Service Now Scripting.
  • Experience integrating Service Now with third-party applications using REST APIs, SOAP APIs or Integration Hub.
  • Experience supporting Agile delivery and test cycles.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • Experience working within large-scale enterprise or public sector Service Now delivery programmes.
