Data Engineer required to join a leading UK brand on a long term remote assignment.
Excellent rates (Inside IR35), remote working & long-term engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop Talend jobs, Oracle DDL/SQL and GitLab pipeline enhancements.
- Investigate and resolve defects identified during testing.
- Review development and test artefacts.
- Conduct component testing, create test data and automate test packs.
- Support QA, performance testing, production releases and warranty periods.
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers.
Required Skills
- Experience with ETL tools, preferably Talend; Pentaho or Informatica experience is transferable.
- Experience working with Oracle RDS databases.
- Knowledge of SQL, testing and defect resolution.
- Experience with GitLab pipelines is desirable.
