Youll work closely with a friendly, supportive team while managing a small portfolio of clients. If youve got at least 2 years of experience in private practice and can complete a full set of accounts independently, this could be exactly what you\βre looking for.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
- Complete full sets of accounts
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank statements and handle general ledger entries
- Assist with VAT returns and tax filings
- Communicate with clients and gather financial information as needed
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and deadlines
What We\βre Looking For
Essential
- At least 2 years experience in a private accountancy practice
- Proven ability to complete a full set of accounts independently
- Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communication and client liaison skills
- Able to manage workload independently and take initiative
Desirable
- Experience working with charities or community-led organisations
