Full Stack Engineer in Manchester

Location: Manchester (Hybrid – 2–3 days onsite)

We are partnering with a leading consultancy supporting a major banking client and are looking for an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join a 6–12 month programme.

This role is ideal for a senior developer with strong Java/Spring Boot experience, cloud exposure, and hands-on full stack development experience in an enterprise environment.

• Lead development efforts and manage delivery of complex projects
• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Spring Boot
• Work across the full technology stack including front-end frameworks (React/Angular)
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated workflows
• Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions across RDBMS platforms (Oracle, Sybase, SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
• Apply strong object-oriented programming and data structure principles
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• 9+ years as a Development Lead or Senior Developer in Java/Spring Boot
• Hands-on experience with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Strong expertise in Data Structures, OOP, and relational databases
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and deliver complex projects
• Exposure to front-end frameworks such as React or Angular
• Previous experience in Financial Services is preferred but not mandatory
• Work on high-profile projects for a leading banking client
• Hybrid working model in Manchester (2–3 days onsite)
• Long-term contract with Inside IR35 compliance
