We are seeking an experienced Sustainability Solution Architect to join a global organisation delivering Sustainability and ESG data initiatives. The role will focus on the design and delivery of enterprise-scale data and reporting platforms, supporting sustainability reporting and analytics. This position will be a 12 months Fixed-Term-Contract (FTC) which can be worked 100% remotely from anywhere in the UK.
Key Requirements
- Own and deliver end-to-end solution architecture for sustainability and ESG data platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define current and target-state architectures, transition roadmaps, and data flows.
- Lead architectural assessments, gap analysis, and governance, providing clear recommendations on risks, dependencies, and sequencing.
- Strong experience designing and delivering data platform architectures using Microsoft Sustainability Manager, Azure/Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Power Platform, and Dataverse.
- Proven expertise in data engineering and migration pipelines, including data models, lineage, ingestion, and quality controls.
- Demonstrable experience with Sustainability / ESG reporting and enterprise data architecture in complex environments (CPG or consumer-focused industries preferred).
- Strong communicator and problem-solver, able to lead across multiple workstreams and engage effectively at all organisational levels.
