About the Role
MRMS, a leading provider of environmental and drainage services, is seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to oversee Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental compliance across our operations. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage day-to-day HSEQ activities within the company.
- Develop and implement HSEQ policies, procedures, and Health & Safety systems.
- Conduct risk assessments, audits, and compliance checks.
- Manage risk assessment, method statements, and audit processes.
- Provide HSEQ training and support to staff.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, implementing corrective actions.
- Monitor and report on HSEQ performance.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and industry standards.
- Maintain and enhance company accreditations.
- Oversee subcontractor onboarding and auditing.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar HSEQ role, preferably in the utility and construction sectors.
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ legislation and industry standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
