An established global technology and digital transformation organisation is looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant to design and deliver innovative ServiceNow solutions for major UK and international clients. This is an opportunity for an experienced ServiceNow professional to combine technical leadership, solution design, customer engagement and innovation, while helping organisations transform their processes and platforms.
The Role
As a Senior Technical Consultant, you'll design scalable ServiceNow solutions that deliver genuine business value β working closely with customers, delivery teams and partners throughout the engagement lifecycle.
- Design and deliver ServiceNow workflow solutions using industry best practice
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications, user stories and scalable solutions
- Lead technical discussions and provide prescriptive guidance on ServiceNow architecture and platform health
- Participate in customer workshops to assess current-state processes and define future-state solutions
- Guide customers through technical documentation and solution decisions
- Provide technical leadership across configuration, integrations, testing and documentation
- Review and validate technical deliverables produced by partners and customer teams
- Provide oversight of unit testing and technical quality
- Lead smaller projects and technical teams, taking ownership from design through to delivery
- Work collaboratively to analyse and resolve complex technical challenges
- Share ServiceNow knowledge and best practice with customers and internal teams
- Provide feedback to product development based on real-world customer experience
- Contribute to engagement reporting, including utilisation, risks and actions
- Leverage AI to optimise workflows, tailor customer solutions and support strategic decision-making
- Help shape responsible AI adoption by clearly articulating AI system design, platform use cases and ethical considerations
What we're looking for
We're looking for a technically strong ServiceNow consultant who can combine hands-on expertise with excellent customer communication and the ability to operate independently.
- Proven ServiceNow Professional Services / Consulting experience
- Strong expertise across relevant ServiceNow offerings and workflows
- Experience designing scalable ServiceNow solutions and technical architectures
- Strong understanding of ITSM, ITOM, ITAM and ServiceNow integrations
- Experience translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience running customer workshops and defining future-state processes
- The ability to independently lead technical workstreams and smaller projects
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience reviewing and validating configuration, integrations, testing and technical documentation
- Excellent customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using AI to improve workflows, solve problems and inform technical or strategic decisions
- The ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- A passion for innovation and continuously improving ServiceNow solutions
Certifications
Ideally, you'll hold relevant ServiceNow certifications such as:
- CSA β Certified System Administrator
- CAD β Certified Application Developer
- CIS β Certified Implementation Specialist
Additional ServiceNow certifications and relevant industry/domain expertise would be advantageous.
