About The Company

Our client is a leading designer, developer, and global supplier of power semiconductors, delivering high-performance solutions for HPC, automotive, industrial, and energy applications. Their advanced semiconductor technologies drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation across global markets.

To support their European R&D expansion, they are seeking an Experienced Applications Engineer, based in the UK, to lead Applications and Validation activities working on next-generation power semiconductor solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical applications / validation support for power semiconductor design and development in the UK
• Define and drive design strategies, methodologies, and innovation roadmaps.
• Collaborate with global engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams.
• Engage with customers and industry partners to align design efforts with market needs.
• Ensure compliance with quality, reliability, and industry standards for power semiconductor design.

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.
• Extensive experience in power semiconductor design, including MOSFETs, IGBTs and PMIC's
• Proven experience leading application and validation activities on complex PMIC designs
• Strong understanding of design tools, simulation methodologies, and power electronics applications.
• Strong communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams.
• Fluent in English
