We’re looking for an ambitious and technically minded Sales Manager – Imaging to join a market‑leading technology solutions provider. If you’re passionate about advanced imaging technologies and excel at building relationships with OEMs, integrators and research partners, this role offers the autonomy and opportunity to shape a high‑growth market.
About The Role
As Sales Manager for Imaging, you will take ownership of developing and expanding business across a portfolio of machine vision, thermal imaging, scientific imaging, embedded vision, sensors and related optical technologies. Working closely with engineering, product specialists and suppliers, you will create value for customers through technical insight and solution‑led selling.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow revenue across imaging products and solutions within target sectors
- Build and manage relationships with OEMs, system integrators, distributors and research institutions
- Identify design‑in opportunities and guide customers through the technical selection process
- Develop territory and account strategies aligned with commercial targets
- Deliver product presentations, demos and technical discussions
- Work with internal teams on proposals, quotations and project delivery
- Maintain strong market awareness—competitors, technologies and trends
- Represent the business at trade shows, customer visits and partner events
What You Bring
- Proven sales experience in industrial imaging, machine vision, optics, sensors, photonics or embedded systems
- Technical understanding of imaging technologies (optical principles, sensors, illumination, software, etc.)
- Track record of winning new business and growing accounts
- Consultative selling approach with strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with technical and commercial teams
- Self‑driven, organised and comfortable owning a territory or product line
- Willingness to travel as required
