We are representing a global pioneer in the aerospace industry, a mission partner to some of the most audacious space exploration projects in history. We are seeking a PP&C Analyst to join their Satellite Systems division. This is a critical role designed to provide the Program Management Office and Finance teams with reliable financial planning, scheduling, and performance measurement to ensure mission success and optimal profitability.
Reporting into the PMO and working in close collaboration with Finance, you will be the guardian of the program performance measurement baseline. Your mission is to ensure that cost and schedule analysis is laser-accurate and that corrective actions are implemented before they impact the mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Planning: Collaborate with Program and Line Managers to map out contract activities (WBS) and assist in creating complex project schedules.
- Earned Value Management: Implement EVM methods to track performance, establishing the project Performance Measurement Baseline.
- Variance Analysis: Provide detailed cost/schedule analysis and performance indices to identify and solve potential problem areas.
- Forecasting: Establish new forecasts and Estimates at Completion (EAC) on a monthly basis, including manpower and procurement forecasts.
- Reporting: Ownership of Monthly Program Review packages, Financial Forecast reports, and Quarterly Assessments.
- Risk Management: Support Project Risk and Management Reserve assessments.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: 4-5 years of relevant experience in program planning and scheduling, preferably within a high-tech engineering or aerospace environment.
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Science, or a related field.
- Technical Edge: Advanced Excel skills are essential. A working knowledge of Visual Basic is a significant advantage.
- Financial Acumen: Strong project cost accounting abilities and a solid grasp of how contract "Terms & Conditions" impact project planning.
- Precision: An analytical mindset with the ability to maintain error-free data across ERP and SharePoint systems.
