A leading specialist in advanced technology solutions is seeking a dynamic Technical Sales Engineer to join their embedded division. About the Role:

As a Technical Sales Manager, you will work closely with a broad range of industrial and technology-focused customers. You will provide pre-sales technical consultation, identify and develop new business opportunities, and nurture existing accounts. Your expertise in embedded systems and your customer-first mindset will be central to delivering tailored solutions and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop a portfolio of customers
  • Identify customer needs and propose suitable embedded technology solutions
  • Provide technical product demonstrations, proposals, and project support
  • Collaborate with internal engineering and product teams to develop tailored offerings
  • Attend customer visits, trade shows, and technical events as required
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and reporting via CRM systems

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Proven background in technical sales or field applications within the embedded computing or electronics industry
  • Sound knowledge of embedded hardware or software (e.g., SBCs, modules, microcontrollers, RTOS, SoCs)
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer engagement skills
  • Self-motivated, with excellent communication and presentation abilities
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Engineering or electronics-related qualification (HNC/HND/Degree) desirable
