As a Contract Sales Relationship Manager, you will take ownership of developing and managing relationships with electrical and M&E contractors, both at UK head office, national and local account levels. Your goal will be to position as the preferred lighting partner for major commercial, public, and infrastructure projects, ensuring our solutions are specified, procured, and installed successfully.
You will work closely with key contractors, distributors, and internal teams to manage project pipelines, deliver technical support, and drive sales growth across your region, drawing on an industry leading specification pipeline of business.
Key Responsibilities:- Account Development: Build and strengthen relationships with key electrical and M&E contractors, particularly at head office and national account level, ensuring placement as a preferred supplier, executing and leveraging commercial agreements and frameworks to do so.
- Project Management: Track and influence project pipelines from tender to installation, ensuring products are selected, approved and de-risking brand value engineering.
- Commercial Strategy: Develop account plans and implement strategies to increase share of contractor-specified and converted business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the specification, distributor, and project management teams to coordinate activity and secure successful project outcomes.
- Technical Support: Provide product and system guidance, including lighting control integration and compliance with project standards and regulations, utilising and mobilising significant experience from internal resources where appropriate.
- Negotiation & Quotation: Support the quotation and tendering process, working with internal pricing teams and sales colleagues nationwide to offer commercially competitive solutions.
- Market Awareness: Maintain a strong understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and upcoming contractor frameworks and bids.
- Reporting: Accurately record project activity, forecasts, and customer engagement in CRM tools, providing regular updates to management.
