Our client is a leading designer, developer, and global supplier of power semiconductors, delivering high-performance solutions for HPC, automotive, industrial, and energy applications. Their advanced semiconductor technologies drive efficiency, reliability, and innovation across global markets.
To support their European R&D expansion, they are seeking an Experienced Applications Engineer, based in the UK, to lead Applications and Validation activities working on next-generation power semiconductor solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical applications / validation support for power semiconductor design and development in the UK.
- Define and drive design strategies, methodologies, and innovation roadmaps.
- Collaborate with global engineering, product management, and manufacturing teams.
- Engage with customers and industry partners to align design efforts with market needs.
- Ensure compliance with quality, reliability, and industry standards for power semiconductor design.
- Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Semiconductor Physics, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in power semiconductor design, including MOSFETs, IGBTs and PMIC's.
- Proven experience leading application and validation activities on complex PMIC designs.
- Strong understanding of design tools, simulation methodologies, and power electronics applications.
- Strong communication and ability to collaborate with cross-functional global teams.
- Fluent in English.
