Based in London, our global client is looking for a Revenue Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis, working full-time 5 days per week in the office. Eligibility to work in the UK is a must.
This job would suit someone with prior experience in a revenue management environment as a revenue analyst, preferably within the hotel industry. This person will play a key role within the commercial team, working closely with Revenue Managers to support achieving annual revenue targets through insightful analysis and well-informed recommendations.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and decision-making skills, which are crucial for maximising revenue in this role. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will regularly negotiate and manage stakeholders across the business, an integral part of your day-to-day responsibilities. Confidence in your decisions is key. Additionally, you must be able to effectively communicate complex data and ideas, both verbally and in writing, in a clear and concise manner.
Job responsibilities:
- Regular and ad-hoc analysis to drive key decision-making activity in Revenue Management
- Define and deliver market Pricing Strategies to ensure optimal prices are being offered based on historical and market information across key market performance variables
- Closely monitor competitor activity and Market share sources and ensure rapid response to changes in the competitive landscape
- Support in the management of Pricing and Inventory forecasting
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure market actions and strategies align to deliver an optimal strategy
- Collaborate effectively with commercial functions to identify and drive new initiatives
- Ensure strong utilisation of both capacity and pricing agreements
- Actively engage with the continuous improvement agenda across the department
