IT Project Manager (Contract/Interim)

• Duration: 12 months
• Start Date: ASAP
• Rate: £450 per day (inside IR35)

We’re looking for a hands-on IT Project Manager who’s confident leading complex technical initiatives while collaborating closely with business stakeholders. You'll be the go-to person for driving critical infrastructure and security projects through to delivery—on time, in scope, and with minimal disruption.

Key Responsibilities

• Domain Migration: Lead the creation of a new Microsoft Group Domain, including migration of three existing domains and decommissioning of legacy environments.
• Application/Infrastructure Upgrades: Manage urgent upgrades across core systems to maintain performance and security.
• IT Operating Model Refresh: Oversee the review and refresh of our IT Ops Model, ensuring it meets future needs.
• Cyber Posture & Remediation: Own reporting on the current cyber security assessment and coordinate remediation efforts across teams.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a bridge between technical teams, external providers, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience managing IT infrastructure projects, ideally including domain migration and systems upgrades
• Strong grasp of cybersecurity fundamentals and posture assessment processes
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across tech and non-tech audiences
• Experience managing third-party vendors and external implementation partners
• Ability to juggle multiple concurrent workstreams and adapt to changing priorities
