Turn data into decisions that drive real growth. We’re looking for a Senior Insight Analyst to help build a best-in-class analytics function from scratch within a high-growth online retail business. Just a blank canvas, and the opportunity to define how data is used at every level of the organisation. You’ll partner with senior stakeholders, shape strategy, and ensure insights don’t just exist, they drive action. The role
Take ownership of analysing performance across key areas such as trading, marketing, customer behaviour, and product performance. Translate data into clear findings and practical, commercially relevant recommendations, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities. Identify trends and opportunities ahead of stakeholder asks, adding value beyond reactive analysis. Present insights in a clear, structured, and compelling way, adapting messaging to different audiences. Ensure outputs are accurate, robust, and clearly validated. Play an active role in improving dashboards, queries, and analytical workflows for scalability and efficiency. Work effectively with Data Engineering and BI teams, helping ensure data is fit for purpose.
About you
Experience: 5+ years in a commercial analysis, data insights, or similar role, with evidence of increasing ownership and impact
Industry: eCommerce / Retail industry experience is essential
Technical Skills: Strong SQL skills; solid experience with Excel and BI tools such as Tableau (or similar)
Programming (Desirable): Working knowledge of Python or R
